About Adelaida

Hi.

I am Adelaida Henao, a Colombian who is engaged with education.

In 2007 I got my degree as a Product Design Engineer form EAFIT University. My first – real-  approach to education was on a research lab in Collaborative Global Design. One year later y dedicated my Graduation Project to develop an undergraduate virtual course in collaborative Global Design. I decided to apply in this project all the skills gained in product conceptualization and design methods. The final product was a virtual course built upon  Learning Objects and forum socializations.

thank to this project,  EAFIT Virtual offered me a place to work designing VLE for the University`s virtual courses and also leading OCW EAFIT.

2008 besides being my first year working at EAFIT Virtual, was a year full of new experiences and learning.

Last year my commitment with education was renewed by entering the MA in Online and Distance Education at the Open University.
